Tom C. Reed’s musical journey began as a boy in Texas singing duets with his dad. From church choir to one-time voice major to professional musician, it’s been a path from casual listener to active immersion; through musical obsession, abandoning hope, and finding passion again.
His musical influences are many and varied, including Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, Miles Davis, the Beatles, Moody Blues, King Crimson, Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Gentle Giant, Steely Dan, Weather Report, Dave Matthews, Radiohead, and too many others to name.
Tom views his music as a conversation between himself and the listener; a window into his world and an invitation to find your own meaning between the notes.
